This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use magnificientoilandgas.com, why we collect it, how we use and retain it, and how you can contact us about it. It applies to visitors and to people who submit an enquiry through our forms.
Magnificient Corporate Oil and Gas Limited ("Magnificient", "we", "us") operates this website and the enquiry forms on it. We are a Nigerian energy trading company specialising in offtake, procurement, marketing, distribution and export of refined petroleum products and petrochemical commodities.
Operations are in Lagos and Abuja, Nigeria. Questions about this policy should be sent to info@magnificientoilandgas.com.
This policy covers personal information collected through this website, including the contact and enquiry forms. It does not replace the confidentiality or data terms in a negotiated sale and purchase agreement, offtake contract or other commercial document, which govern once a transaction is under negotiation or execution.

Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry, we collect the information you choose to provide. Our primary enquiry form may include:
- Company name
- Contact name
- Email address
- Telephone number (optional)
- Country (optional)
- Enquiry type (for example product offtake, product supply, partnership or general)
- Product of interest
- Volume and delivery basis notes
- Free-text message describing your requirement
We also receive technical data that web servers and security tools commonly log (such as IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamps) to operate, secure and diagnose the site. We do not use this site to run advertising trackers or sell personal information to third parties for marketing.
04
How we use information
We use enquiry information to:
- Respond to your enquiry and follow up on commercial discussions you initiate
- Route the message to the appropriate desk (offtake, supply, partnership or general)
- Keep a record of correspondence for service quality and, where a relationship follows, for ordinary commercial administration
- Protect the site against abuse, spam and security threats
- Meet legal or regulatory obligations when they apply
We do not sell personal information. We do not use enquiry data to build marketing lists for unrelated third parties.
Where Nigerian data protection law applies, we process personal information as needed to take steps at your request before a contract, to pursue legitimate interests in operating a commercial website and responding to business enquiries, and to comply with legal obligations. If we rely on consent for a specific optional purpose, we will say so at the point of collection.
06
Sharing and service providers
Enquiry messages are delivered to our mail systems (currently addressed to info@magnificientoilandgas.com) so our team can reply. Hosting, security and email infrastructure may process limited technical data as part of running the site. We do not publish a list of named subprocessors here because providers can change with operations; we require service providers that handle personal information to use it only for providing their service to us.
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, court order or a competent authority, or to protect our rights, property or safety or that of others.
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for commercial records and dispute handling, then deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required, unless a longer period is required by law or an active commercial relationship.
Server and security logs are retained for a shorter operational period consistent with security and troubleshooting needs.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to a corporate website (including access controls on administrative systems and industry-standard transport security where the site is served over HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please avoid sending highly sensitive personal data through the public enquiry form.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where appropriate, or restriction of processing. You may also object to certain processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise these rights, email info@magnificientoilandgas.com with enough detail for us to identify your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
